Girls Basketball
The Dundee-Bradford girls basketball team won the Addison Tournament, Friday, Dec. 29. The BraveScots beat North Penn Mansfield 55-24. The tournament MVP was Kendall Parker and the All-Star Bruna Crespo. Crespo led in the game with 15 points and Parker had 13.
To open the tournament, Dundee-Bradford defeated Addison 57-19. Parker recorded 21 points. Makayla Schoffner and Crespo each netted 10 points.
The girls won, 63-50, against Bloomfield, Thursday, Dec. 21. Parker crossed the 1,000-point career milestone with 16 points in the game. Kailey Yeoman also contributed 17 points. Crespo added 13.
Boys Basketball
The Dundee-Bradford boys basketball team defeated Wayland-Cohocton, 48-40, Saturday, Dec. 30. Leading scorers were Chris Clancey with 16 points and Aidan Webster with 13. Clancey was also selected to the All-Tournament Team.
The team fell to Moravia 72-42, Friday, Dec. 29. Clancey led with 10 points. Webster added nine points and 10 rebounds.
The BraveScots won against Bloomfield, Thursday, Dec. 21. The final score was 40-35.
Bowling
The Dundee-Bradford bowling teams faced Mynderse, Thursday, Dec. 21. The girls won 3-2 and the boys lost 5-0. McKenna Miller led the girls team with a game-high 495 and high game 177.
Indoor Track
The Dundee-Bradford indoor track team competed at RIT, Thursday, Dec. 28. Top finishers included: Madison Hughes was fourth in the 55 meter dash, Peyton Mullin was fourth in the shot put and Hamilton Iszard was tied for third in the high jump.
Wrestling
The Dundee-Bradford wrestling team traveled to the Lyons Invitational Tournament last week. Sophomore Caleb Bartlett lead the way with a 5-0 record making him tournament champion in the 215-pound weight class. His older brother Jacob took third place in the 190-pound class. Junior Connor Erick took second place at 145 and freshman Ryan Smith took third place in the 285-pound weight class.
Penn Yan
Boys Basketball
The Penn Yan boys basketball team lost to Honeoye, Thursday, Dec. 21. The final score was 52-46. Matt Tones scored 16 points.
Girls Basketball
The Penn Yan girls basketball team fell to Newark Valley, 41-35, Friday, Dec. 29 in the holiday tournament in Bath. The team opened with a win to Haverling, 40-35, Thursday, Dec. 28.
Bowling
The William Newkirk Memorial Tournament was held at Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua last week. The Lady Mustangs took first place in Division One. They defeated Victor, Newark, and Canandaigua in the three-game format. The girls posted a score of 2,533 and were led by Anella Tillman with a 600 series.
The boys also competed in a tough Division One group. They posted a score of 2,786 and were led by Connor Andersen with a 646 series, backed up by CJ Miller with a 613 and Colin Johnson with a 602.
The Mustangs hosted Newark, Thursday, Dec. 21. The Lady Mustangs swept the Reds, 5-0, and remain undefeated. The boys battled back and forth with the Mustangs winning games one and three, and Newark taking game two and winning the overall point total. The Reds won, 3-2.
The girls were led by Julia Maldonado with a 609 series and Tillman with a 606. The boys were paced by Andersen with a 666 series and Johnson with a 622.
Indoor Track
The Penn Yan indoor track team competed at RIT, Thursday, Dec. 28.
James Tette was first in the 3,200 meter run (9:55.60). Anthony Wheeler took first in the 600 meter run (1:31.04) and was second in the 3,200 meter run. Anthony Sciallo finished first in the shot put (43' 1").
Ameina Samultalski took second in the 3,000 meter run. Cynthia Kriegar was third in the shot put. Eva Smith recorded a fourth-place finish in the 1,000 meter run and fifth in the 1,500 meter run.
Wrestling
The Penn Yan wrestling team lost to South Seneca, Thursday, Dec. 21. The final score was 49-18. Winning for the Mustangs were Levi Hilton, Jacob Eaves and David Young.
Hammondsport
Girls Basketball
The Hammondsport girls basketball team won against Jasper-Troupsburg, Wednesday, Dec. 20. The final score was 47-30.
Wrestling (Avoca-Prattsburgh/Hammondsport)
The wrestling team lost to Addison, 35-30, Wednesday, Dec. 20. Recording wins were: Orion Davis (pin 1:07), Justin Wise (pin 1:25), Devin Stamets (pin 1:06), Chase Mummey (pin 1:19) and Will Robords (forfeit).
Watkins Glen
Boys Basketball
The Watkins Glen boys basketball team won against Newfield, 57-52, Saturday, Dec. 30 in the Watkins tournament. Sam Caslin recorded 16 points. Christopher Simiele added 15 and Ryan Willett 14.
The boys lost the opening game of the holiday tournament to Trumansburg, Friday, Dec. 29. The final score was 61-41. Willett scored 16 points. Caslin added nine.
Girls Basketball
The Watkins Glen girls basketball team defeated Onondaga, 61-30, Saturday, Dec. 30. Rachel Vickio scored 15 points. Olivia VanSkiver contributed nine.
The girls lost to Owego, Friday, Dec. 29. The final score was 44-38. Olivia King had 10 points and Brianna Hatch posted nine.
The Lake Hawks won the Melissa B. Wilson Memorial Tournament they hosted, Thursday, Dec. 28. Watkins beat South Seneca, 60-24. Hatch scored 12 points and Vickio added 11.
The girls defeated Trumansburg in the opening round of the tournament at Watkins Glen, 56-31, Wednesday, Dec. 27. Hatch and Vickio each recorded 14 points.

The Odessa-Montour boys basketball team won the Addison tournament with a victory over Cowanesque Valley, Saturday, Dec. 30. The final score was 62-43.
The boys won the opening game against Addison, 60-44, Friday, Dec. 29.
Girls Basketball
The Odessa-Montour girls basketball team won against Addison in the consolation game of a holiday tournament, Friday, Dec. 29. The final score was 45-30. Leah Antes scored 17 points and Evvie Zinger posted 13.
The girls lost the opening game in the Addison tournament against North Penn-Mansfield, 54-30, Wednesday, Dec. 27. Gina Gavich paced the team with 14 points.
Wrestling (O-M&WG)
The Odessa-Montour and Watkins Glen wrestling team competed at the Cooperstown Invitational, Saturday, Dec. 30. Lucas Hoffman was the champion at 116 pounds. Dana Guild took third, while Dylan Senecal and Balan Ault were fourth.
