Odessa beats Groton, Edison in home duals

ODESSA-The Odessa-Montour varsity wrestling team finished fourth overall at the Odessa-Montour Duals, Saturday, Jan. 2.
Out of six schools, Odessa won twice, but lost to three opponents. The Indians beat Groton, 45-24, and Thomas A. Edison, 54-24. The losses came from Whitney-Point, 54-30; Dryden, 47-30; and Spencer-Van Etten, 45-33.
Shawn Minnier (170) and Alex Repass (220) were presented with Outstanding Wrestler awards for Odessa.
