Hammondsport will play in sectional finalsAVOCA-The Hammondsport varsity volleyball team played in the sectional semifinal game against C.G. Finney, Wednesday, Oct. 29, and won 3-0. This brings their season record to 18-0. The game scores were: 25-21, 25-11 and 25-18.Lahra Weber had 15 aces and eight kills. Tanessa Whitney recorded six aces and nine kills, while Aly Binnert had 12 assists. Hammondsport will now play number three seeded Harley Allendale Columbia in the class D sectional finals, Saturday, Nov. 1.  |
