Annual Montour Falls carnival is this weekend

MONTOUR FALLS—The Montour Falls Fire Department will hold its 58th annual Festival and Parade this weekend. The event will run Thursday through Saturday, June 5 through 7 and will take place at the fireman’s field. Festival grounds open at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and noon Saturday. The event features rides, games, food and live entertainment for the entire community.
This year, the entertainment includes the annual Expo Showdown Thursday, which will take place at 6 p.m. Friday’s event features Nik and the Nice Guys, which begins at 8 p.m. Saturday’s parade will begin at 5 p.m. and the day will conclude with Steve Southworth and the Rockabilly Rays at 7 p.m.
