WATKINS GLEN—The Watkins Glen boys varsity basketball team topped Elmira Notre Dame, 55-50, in the Section IV Class C semifinal game, Wednesday, Feb. 27. Watkins now advances to the championship game against Moravia, Saturday, March 2, at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton. The Senecas are seeded number two, while Moravia is number four. In the semifinal game, Jesse Teeter led with 21 points, four steals, and four assists. Josh Teeter had 14 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Brady Myers with 12 points and seven rebounds. Colin Gates and Tony Keough each scored four points. Coach John Fazzary said Keough's points were "big fourth quarter shots." Fazzary added Kody Gregory contributed two steals and two big assists, which led to two easy layup shots for the Senecas.
