Montour town board 02/10/09 Meeting: The Montour town board met Tuesday, Feb. 10 for one hour and 15 minutes. Attendance: Robert Brown was the only board member absent. There were three members of the public in the audience. Action: The board accepted the 2009 agreement with the Schuyler County Partnership for Economic Development (SCOPED). • The board got five bids for a truck. They picked the highest bidder, but have not been able to contact them. Discussion without action: The board discussed new things they could do with the Havana Glen park. • Cassie Combs from the Southern Tier Tobacco Committee for Awareness spoke to the board. She was there to ask them to help raise awareness of how much tobacco advertising impacts youth. Bids/purchases over $1,000: None. Appointments/resignations: None.
