Watkins swimmers beat Waverly

WATKINS GLEN-The Watkins Glen girls varsity swim team defeated Waverly, 106-80, Thursday, Oct. 8.
Lexi Castellaneta earned a new school record with a first place in diving (299.05).
The 200 yard medley relay team (Peighton Cervoni, Katherine Meehan, Amanda Wilbur, and Emma Allington) won first in 2:04.70. The 400 yard medley relay team (Wilbur, Allington, Cervoni, and Meehan) also had a top finish with 4:10.98.
Liza Carnes won the 200 freestyle (2:19.7), while Allington finished first in the 50 freestyle (27.50). Cervoni was first in the 100 backstroke (1:08.97). Meehan placed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:15.73).
